I’m getting older it’s a fact
What I once chased I just react
I close my eyes and, it seems another year has passed
I’ve wasted time I can’t get back
Looking for things I thought I lacked
No way of knowing, what I was always holding
I’m losing touch with friends I’ve had
I’m piling up unfinished plans
The waves keep rolling, over my castle made of sand
Washing over me, I’m beginning to see
You get high, you get low
Seasons come and seasons go
Some too fast, some too slow
Whatever you water starts to grow
Don’t lose hope, soon you’ll know, the best part of growing old
My good intentions, fell behind
A picture I’d romanticized
As I lurch forward, not yet the man I thought I’d be
I went out looking for a sign
One written out in neon lights
I ran from silence, the place I’d surely find it
Now I can’t keep up I can’t keep time
I always feel one step behind
And when I notice the light it breaks me open
When it’s over me, I’m beginning to see
You get high, you get low
Seasons come and seasons go
Some too fast, some too slow
Whatever you water starts to grow
Don’t lose hope soon you’ll know the best part of growing old
Oh Oh Oh Oh, Oh Oh Oh, Oh Oh Oh Oh
So many things that make me mad
Do I shake my fists or lend a hand
I may be broken, but my heart is open wide
I’ve yet to see a promised land
only this moment that we have
Now moving forward, without the certainty of the past
My eyes have seen beautiful things
A healing love, the pain that stings
And it reminds me that there is meaning in everything
I feel much younger than I am
But I see the lines upon my hands
And they remind me, of where I’ve been and all I have

I first heard Tamara on a cold & rainy night in Toronto a few years ago, in a tiny room packed with 20 people rapt in reverent silence. Her music has been warming me from the inside ever since. Zaac Pick
You'll be in suspense from the first haunting piano line, to the climax of 'Dear Helen', as Andy's gripping tales examine the dark corners of small-town life. I like to call it 'Prairie Noir'. Zaac Pick
